Meet Cityview
Jo,
Vanessa, Melissa and Jessica Tenney

Our family has been attending Cityview
since 1998. We were invited to
church by our
neighbors on Resurrection Sunday and we instantly felt
that
we were in the right
place. It was a perfect fit for each member of our
family.
Throughout the past decade our
family dynamics have been changing.
Pastor Bryan has been such a blessing
to our family and has always
been there whenever we have needed
him. His sermons are a big part
of why we keep coming back.
He not only tells it like it is, but also shows
us how to put it into practice in our daily lives. We’d also like to give a shout
out to the music at Cityview! We
can’t imagine being anywhere else on
Sunday mornings!
Kokeeta and C.J. Edwards

Kokeeta and C.J. Edwards have been coming to Cityview
for over 6 years
and have made Cityview their church home. Kokeeta was
introduced
to Cityview through Joanne Tenney in 2003. “I have always
felt at home
here and Pastor Bryan and his family, along with all
other members
welcomed us with open arms. My dream is to see C.J. grow
up and become
a loving man of God like so many other young ones have
done here at
Cityview. I appreciate the fact that my pastor and the
members of the
church do care and they have been such a blessing to
C.J. and I. If
you want to feel at home and learn the
truth in God’s wonderful
word, Cityview is the
place to be."
Rita Modglin, Amanda, Scott, Jessica, Kim,
Josh, Rebekah and Dylan Daniels

The Daniels reside in Westminster.
Their five children range from pre-school age on up to high school.
Rita Modglin (Kim's mother) is very active in the lives of the Daniels family and
they are very grateful to have such a close relationship. Scott is in Industrial Sales while
Kim works part-time as a care provider for a handicapped child. Rita is a small business co-owner.
"We are a large family of 7 and find it hard to all
agree on things. We went to Cityview one Sunday
after checking out several churches and everyone agreed this is the church we need
to attend. Pastor Bryan teaches solid, biblical messages that are relevant to
our everyday lives."
Nadine, Petric,
James, Abigail, Josiah, Anna, Jeremiah, Naomi,
Isaac and Esther Kerley

The Kerley family is a transplant from Florida. We moved to Colorado in
2002. We have nine children, eight of whom live in the area. After a few months
of searching for a church home, we entered the doors of Cityview and everyone
came home and said, "This is it"! Our family covers all the
bases: there are four adult kids, two teens, and three younger ones.
Our Dad went to be with the Lord in May of 2006. When Jeff passed
away, Pastor Bryan told us that Cityview is here for us. They have proved that
over and over again; they are like family. We learn so much from
Pastor Bryan's messages. They are real and applicable for our needs, and the
music is the best!
Julie, Victoria, Bob,
J.J. and Robbie De Herrera

The De Herrera's have lived in Arvada for 5 years. Bob is a Denver
native and Julie grew up in Pueblo. Bob is self-employed as an Operations
Manager and Julie just returned to work as an Education Assistant after being a
stay-at-home Mom for many years. Our kids attend Lincoln Academy Charter School.
Robbie is in 4th grade and plays football. J.J. is in 2nd grade and plays
soccer. Victoria is in 1st grade and loves to sing and dance. We also have a
son, Keenan, who passed away but would now be 15. We have been coming to CCC for
about 4 years and absolutely love it! There is a relaxed, family atmosphere.
Pastor Day's sermons are informative and relevant to our daily walk.
He and his family are very approachable and sincere. The music sets a great
tempo to encourage worship. We highly recommend Cityview to all our friends,
family and neighbors.
Ray, Mariah, Amanda
and Ray Jr. Sharp

The Sharp family are Colorado natives and love
God's scenery here in Colorado. Ray Sr. grew up in Denver and Amanda in Lakewood. They are
raising their children, Ray Jr. and Mariah in Arvada and are expecting
a new baby in January. They feel so incredibly blessed to have found
Cityview and are privileged to be a part of the loving, caring church family
there. Pastor Bryan's messages are from Scripture and very relevant
to everyday living. The Sharps all get SO much out of each Sunday
message and feel very blessed to have such a wonderful children's ministry for their
daughter. The music and worship is very special, including both contemporary music and hymns.
"It is very encouraging to glorify God through the praise and prayer request time and we are
so glad Cityview is
our
church home."
Gary
and Sandra Salankey

The Salankeys are Denver natives, Gary from WheatRidge and
Sandra from North
Denver. We have 3 grown children and 3 grandsons, Corey our son
is dad to Tavan, Nichole our daughter, and son Sam with wife Jen who are parents
to Steele and Titan. Our house is becoming increasingly louder and much
busier. We are blessed to have all of them residing in the Denver
area. We believe in Proverbs 3:5,6 "Trust in the Lord with all of your
heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all of
your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path." So when we
were searching as a family for a church we turned to a pamphlet that
had come in the mail. That lead us to Bryan Day, who teaches by
scripture in a manner easy to follow and relevant to our daily lives. We enjoy the music,
the fellowship and the
time
of worship.
